More than 2,000 UFCW Members to Join Bethpage Membership and Receive
Expanded Product and Financial Service Offerings

Bethpage, NYBethpage Federal Credit Union, New York State’s largest credit union, today announces that the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) has approved a merger for Bethpage with UFCW Local 342 Federal Credit Union.  UFCW Local 342 Federal Credit Union is a union-based $5.6 million credit union with 2,071 members with one location in Mineola, NY.  Effective July 1, 2012, all UFCW members gained access to Bethpage’s 26 branch network, 425 free ATMs, and extensive product and service offerings as New York State’s largest credit union.

In addition to an expanded network, the new Bethpage members will benefit from a full spectrum of offerings including commercial, residential and auto loans, home financing, title services, IRAs and other savings accounts, and free checking.  Members can also obtain property and casualty insurance, homeowners and auto insurance, life, long-term care and disability insurance as well as a host of investment services through Bethpage Investment Strategies.

New Bethpage members also gain access to mobile and online banking, as well as the convenience of Bethpage’s Shared Branching/Banking that allows members to handle basic transactions at any credit union location across that country that participates in the shared network.  All Bethpage ATMs, including those in the 7-Eleven, King Kullen, Costco and CVS Pharmacies, are surcharge free to members.
