Meinberg Named Partner-in-Charge of Private Business Services for Long Island. Professional Staff Joins Firm to Deepen EisnerAmper’s Capabilities on Long Island.
NEW YORK – EisnerAmper LLP today announced that Long Island-based accounting and business advisory professionals Mark L. Meinberg and Lois Clinco have been admitted to the partnership of the firm, effective February 1, 2014. Together with a team of 13 professionals, their presence significantly expands the capabilities and scope of the firm’s Long Island office.
Meinberg and Clinco, as well as their entire professional and support staff, will continue to work out of their existing offices in Syosset, New York, where EisnerAmper’s Long Island practice is expected to relocate later this year. At the same time, Meinberg becomes Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Long Island Private Business Services (PBS) practice. “The firm’s PBS group is one of our fastest growing, and among the most critical to our long-term success on Long Island. We’re delighted to have Mark lead the team,” said Eric Altstadter, Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Long Island office.

Mark Meinberg, CPA, was the Managing Partner of a leading accounting firm on Long Island over the last three decades. As a business advisor to his clients, his expertise has helped many clients grow their businesses, and helped others reorganize and emerge stronger. He is a qualified expert witness in litigation and Bankruptcy Court proceedings, and has particular expertise in real estate management, e-commerce, leisure and recreation and staffing agencies.
Mark represented the NYSSCPA in a Council position for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for three years. He is a former Vice President, Executive Committee member, and member of the Board of Directors for NYSSCPA, and Past President of the Nassau Chapter of NYSSCPA, among other executive positions and executive board membership. Mark is the founder and Past-Chairman of the Regional Small-Size Managing Partners Forum. He also sits on the Business Advisory Council for Sterling National Bank in New York City.

Lois Clinco, CPA, is experienced in all aspects of audit, tax, accounting and advisory services, with a focus in commercial and residential rental real estate, and Common Interest Realty Associations (CIRAs). She also performs 401(k) audits as well as CFO/controllership functions. Other clients include e-commerce/internet, leisure and recreation, and hospitality.
A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Lois is a graduate of Long Island University, C.W. Post, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
