Christine DiRaimo, Esq. Hired to Lead Division
Cold Spring Harbor, NY… Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty (DGSIR), one of the nation’s leading realtors, has created a New Development Division to address a burgeoning demand for condominiums, townhomes and other non-traditional residential units on Long Island. DGSIR has hired Christine A. DiRaimo, Esq., a top producing real estate professional who has significant expertise in this market segment. Ms. DiRaimo’s title is Vice President, Director of New Development Division. Daniel Gale Sotheby’s President and CEO Patricia J. Petersen made the announcement.
“Over the past few years we have identified a trend amongst our clients and customers for the kind of lower maintenance lifestyle afforded by condominiums and town homes,” said Ms. Petersen. “This group includes empty nesters, single men and women of all ages, and young couples as well. The builder/developer community we represent is also very active in this market segment. We’ve formed the New Development Division to provide the advice and professional services essential to both developers and buyers. To that purpose we’ve brought Christine DiRaimo, one of the most knowledgeable real estate professionals in this market segment to Daniel Gale Sotheby’s. We are very pleased to welcome her to our organization.”
With more than 20 years as a real estate professional, Christine DiRaimo brings the combined experience of a licensed broker and attorney to her work. She has consulted extensively with the development community, advising them throughout the planning, construction, marketing and transaction of each project. Christine also has achieved top sales awards for her work with clients buying and selling traditional single family homes. Her clients rely on her negotiation skills well honed by her years in the courtroom.
“I’ve seen a strong movement in the Long Island market geared to this lifestyle change,” said DiRaimo. “These condos and townhomes are of new construction, and offer minimal maintenance, lower taxes, generous amenities, beautiful grounds, a ready community of potential friends and are overall well suited to an active lifestyle. Many of our buyers have often sold a bigger home and are looking for a similar level of comfort with less responsibility. We are able to help them through the process and find a residence that suits their changing needs.”
The New Development Division will be headquartered at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s office at 160 E. Main Street in Huntington but its services will be available as a resource to all Daniel Gale Sotheby’s sales professionals. Satellite offices will be located in DGSIR’s Garden City and Manhasset locations as well.
