United States Navy Blue Angels to Headline in 2014
Bethpage, NY… Bethpage Federal Credit Union, New York State’s largest credit union, and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, are very pleased to announce that the United States Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the 10th Anniversary Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach taking place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 and Sunday, May 26, 2013. This will be the legendary demonstration squadron’s fourth appearance at the show.
The announcement was also made that the United States Navy has committed the F18 Super Hornet to appear at this year’s show and the United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team will be included in the lineup as well. Last year’s headliner, the United States Navy Blue Angels, will perform in the 2014 show.
“As we continue to recover from Hurricane Sandy, this is great news for Long Island,” said Bethpage Senior Vice President Linda Armyn. “Each year the Bethpage Air Show brings millions of dollars into the Long Island region, and for this coming season especially, the show will help give a much needed boost to our local economy as we kick off the summer tourism season.”

Almost 400,000 spectators chose last year’s 9th Annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach as their Memorial Day holiday weekend destination.
