Bayport, NY – The Board of Directors of Blackman Plumbing Supply Co. Inc, the region’s leading supplier of superior quality plumbing and heating products, announced its election of Robert Mannheimer to Chairman of the Board. Mannheimer will continue in his role as President and Chief Executive Officer at Blackman Plumbing Supply, a position he has held since 2008. Mannheimer succeeds Richard Blackman as Chairman of the Board.
Mannheimer will work closely with the Blackman Board of Directors, comprised of key industry leaders and business professionals, to ensure that Blackman maintains its position as the dominant plumbing and heating industry leader in the market place.

Mannheimer brings to his new role over 20 years experience at Blackman. Previous to Blackman, Robert was the Vice President of Finance at Harmon Kardon/JBL. Mannheimer received a Bachelor of Science Degree from C.W. Post and holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. He resides in Blue Point, New York, and is the father of two sons.
