Uniondale, NY – Exploring Critical Issues, the 2013 MarCom Gold Award televised series hosted and conceived by Adelphi University President Robert A. Scott, returns with a discussion by expert panelists on the impact of World War I both here in the U.S. and abroad. The latest show, entitled the “100th Anniversary of the Start of World War I,” will air for two weeks beginning June 14, 2014.
“We know that disagreement over the causes of World War I profoundly shaped the subsequent course of European and world history,” notes Dr. Scott. “Our latest program will explore the role played both by the U.S. and the British in what was then called the Great War, the intended and unintended consequences of this war and what lessons are relevant to society today. I look forward to sharing this exchange with our viewers.”
