Peggy Kalia

Account Manager, Media Specialist

Peggy Kalia brings over 25 years of experience to the firm, having represented clients from the agency side as well as the client side. She has worked with market leaders in a variety of industries including optical/fashion, managed vision care, risk insurance and technology. Her experience runs the gamut from media relations to product placement to internal communications and community relations.

Prior to joining Epoch 5, Peggy was an Account Supervisor for Harriett Ruderman Public Relations where she oversaw consumer and trade public relations activities for Luxottica Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of fashion eyewear. She was also responsible for event planning/PR for Casual Corner Group, a national women’s retailer. While at HRPR, she represented Helen Keller Services for the Blind, publicizing its range of programs and initiatives to a variety of media outlets.

Other agencies for which Peggy has worked include Greenstone & Rabasca (then Long Island’s largest ad agency) and Kopf & Isaacson. While there, she worked with a variety of clients, including NEC, Phillips Business Systems, Astoria Federal Savings, Linotype-Hell, Travel Magazine, and many more. She started her career as a copy editor with CMP Publications’ Electronic Engineering Times.

Peggy has also handled publicity for the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the Lake George Music Festival.
