Most recently, she helped increase brand awareness for Crosstex International, Inc., a dental manufacturer, by supporting the product management and sales teams to publicize products, initiatives and grow an online presence.
Alessandra has also represented global clients in the broadcast and technology space, responsible for drafting all written collateral from press releases, feature articles and whitepapers to case studies, blog and social media posts. In addition, she conducted interviews with customers, actively pitched for inclusion online and in print publications, planned and provided on-site trade show support and managed daily communications efforts.
Alessandra started her career as an Account Coordinator at global communications and public relations firm Cohn & Wolfe, now BCW. She was a member of the consumer practice, where she supported notable brands that included Jif, Folgers, Colgate, Footaction and Alcon by planning events, engaging influencers and monitoring coverage.
As a freelancer, Alessandra has worked with many Long Island businesses as well as local charities to increase recognition and spread awareness. She has helped support the charitable efforts of New York Sportscene Children’s Foundation, Long Island ABATE and Yes We Care, Inc.
A resident of Commack, New York, Alessandra earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and minor in Business Administration from St. John’s University.
