Matthew Ferremi

Account Executive and Digital Manager

At Epoch 5, Matt manages Epoch 5’s social media programs and lends support on agency accounts. His responsibilities include coordinating outreach and press release distribution while working to secure client coverage in print and digital media. Matt has also assisted Epoch 5 with community relations for the Long Island Railroad Third Track construction project.

Prior to joining Epoch 5, Matt worked as a reporter for the Nassau Herald, a weekly community newspaper that covers the Five Towns area of Nassau County. During his two and a half years at the Herald, Matt wrote 500 articles on such topics as local politics, schools, and notable residents of the Five Towns.

A graduate of SUNY New Paltz, Matt was an editorial member of the school’s publication the New Paltz Oracle for four semesters. This included working as a sportswriter and the editor of the news section. While at New Paltz, Matt also worked as an intern reporter for the school’s athletic communications department and the Albany-based Legislative Gazette, covering state politics. He graduated from New Paltz in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in political science. Matt also obtained an associate’s degree in journalism from Suffolk County Community College in 2015.

Matt is a native of East Islip and when he is not in the office, you can catch him on a Long Island golf course.
