Public Relations for Education
Our PR strategies are not the cookie-cutter programs that some other agencies offer. Our fully realized action plans are developed by senior public relations professionals, many of whom are veterans of top national public relations firms and have more than 20 years of experience.
We work to meet an education client’s individual needs and specific communications goals—whether it’s shaping their reputation, raising their visibility within the community or defining a school’s leadership and excellence. To this end, we leverage our carefully cultivated local media contacts, creativity and extensive regional knowledge.
Our Education Experience in Action
Our public relations firm has served numerous colleges and universities on Long Island and in the greater New York metro area, including Stony Brook University, Adelphi University, Long Island University and New York Institute of Technology. We have also provided communications programs to secondary education clients, from the acclaimed Chaminade Catholic High School to the 10,000-student William Floyd School District. We have also conducted in-depth seminar/workshops on crisis management for school public relations officials in conjunction with the School Public Relations Association-Nassau Suffolk BOCES.
Epoch 5 has supported the educational initiatives of a number of prominent corporate clients in the greater New York City area, including Cablevision’s Optimum Community program (formerly known as Power to Learn), MSG Varsity channel and The Challenge quiz show. Libraries, including the Suffolk County Library System, and nationally recognized research organizations Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Brookhaven National Laboratory have utilized our community relations expertise.
